The bougainvillea always wins.
A Spanish-style stone bell tower swallowed in magenta bougainvillea. "Palm Beach / County" lettered in. Vintage letterpress travel poster.
In Lantana, a stone bell tower from the Mediterranean Revival building years stands wrapped in bougainvillea that advances a few feet each season. The vine now covers courses of stonework, an arch, and part of the bell opening. The tower is still legible through it. Both structures keep their own schedule.
