LDH-P046 · vintage letterpress poster

Tropical Inbox Zero

Zero unread. Forever.

A teal roadside mailbox, flag up, beside a breezeblock wall, palm trunk, and a pot of coral hibiscus. Vintage letterpress poster.

The Story

In Mango Groves, Parrot Cove, and Eden Place, mail is still delivered to roadside boxes - painted metal, flag up or down, set in front of breezeblock walls and hibiscus. The boxes mark the cottage lots the way house numbers do elsewhere. A raised flag is the district's smallest public announcement.

The Making

  • Finished in Photoshop with mid-century travel-poster color - saturation raised in the teal and coral ranges, edges softened selectively.
  • Breezeblock pattern and mailbox rebuilt as vector shapes in Illustrator so the pattern repeat stays exact.
  • Print-prepped at 2400 × 3000 px, 300 dpi, sRGB.

Every print comes with its story card.

Own this print? Pin where it lives.

Every print made here heads out into the world: a hallway in Ohio, a kitchen in Oregon, a desk somewhere cold. If this one landed with you, drop a pin and put your town on the map.

It’s printed next to the QR code on the story card that came with your print.

City level only. Your pin shows the town, never your address.
