Slow wins the beach.
A sea turtle seen from above, shell patterned like stained glass, swimming through wavy blue water under an orange sun, citrus-slice medallions in the corners. Mosaic / stained-glass.
Sea turtle season runs March through October and reorganizes the beach: lights dimmed, nests roped and marked, volunteer patrols at dawn. A loggerhead at sunrise leaves a wide trail back to the water after nesting. The shell is built as the season is run, piece by piece, in panels.
