Nature did the assembly.
A six-petaled cream flower at the center of a patchwork grid of petal, leaf, and arch shapes. Mid-century geometric pattern.
Each February, Lake Worth Beach's Street Painting Festival closes Lake Ave and Lucerne, gridding the asphalt for chalk work over two days. A flower runs the same system at garden scale: petal, leaf, arch on a grid. The piece makes the two grids one object.
