Night Registration

Moonlight works the night shift.

A full moon behind a single palm, teal and red bars, a small sailboat on dark water. Minimal geometry with letterpress grain.

The Story

A full-moon drum circle has met on Lake Worth Beach sand for years. After midnight the lakefront narrows to dark water, moonlight, a sailboat at anchor. Bars of color: shoreline lights and channel markers at their simplest. Nothing in the frame is in a hurry.

The Making

Night scene reduced in Illustrator to flat geometric shapes on a strict alignment grid - moon disc, palm, and horizon bars aligned like a print registration test.
Palette limited to five colors, the moon the only full-value shape.
Letterpress grain and edge aging applied in Photoshop as a final unifying pass.
